no you won't be able to buy parts from yanmar. I would say it's worth repairing.. The loader alone is 3- 4 grand new..If you can repair it for 3000-3500 I would say repair it. Repaired, (if everything else works) it should be a good machine

I was admiring the looks of the one in my Pic. That being said Imo. repair it!! I would real surprised if that is the only model that used a specific Piston, Rings,Sleeve, H.Gasket etc. The Sleeves and Piston's maybe good or Good enough. And the Head Gasket can surly be made if need be. Let us know what the Big Fred. has to say.

Thats what I was thinking but I haven't found anyone with the answers and I'm not sure where to look to find that someone, #1 rod spun the bearing and got into the crank lobe. The sleeves and pistons look ok but will need rod bearings, what I found when I opened the pan was the oil pickup screen was laying on the bottom of the pan, which tells me that even with the oil dip stick showing oil the pump wasn't able to pickup enough oil so it ran low on oil causing the damage.

If Fredricks don't have the parts. he should be able to point you to someone that can

It's a split. When you get the old Crank out take it to a Machine shop see if it's Useable/Repairable. Then your Know what to do next. Also Fredricks may have a solution or your SOL with them. Wow! sure will like to here what comes about.

see my problem is should I break it down that far, before I know if I can even get the parts, I broke it down this far so I could tell what parts I would need , right now I can still move it out of the shop if I split it, which I would do to pull the crank and clutch then I locked up the shop bay and still have no answer to the question CAN I BUY PARTS FOR THIS TRACTOR anywhere?
