Thanks Toro - he was a 5x7. Been hunting for 6 years now and the only other buck I've shot was an average 8 point so I was pretty happy. Good luck tomorrow.

Thanks Eddie - he was definitely the nicest one I've seen so far on our property. Seen quite a few over the last few years but most have not been shooters.

It was kind of funny since I was pretty bummed our farmer did not get the corn out yet this year. I figured my opportunities would be pretty limited but I think it played into my favor. He came out from the timber trailing a doe and since the corn was up didn't seem to be in any hurry like they normally are and was able to get a shot off before he got in too deep. I heard him crash a couple seconds later and had a heck of a time finding him in the corn though.

Nice buck JK!

I saw two does pulling up to my gate Friday evening and that was it. Wind blew all day Saturday. Today was great in the AM but I still didn't see anything. I will be back at it this Friday.
