Firefox - quick reaction

Thanks for the links Gerald!
It downloaded and appears to run okay.
I procrastinated trying it, but your link made it simple enough to give it a shot. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Thanks for the nudge,

( I tried the tabs - hated it, because it took yet another row of screen real estate away from the subject site.)

That's why you right-click on that part of the screen, and choose to move them to the left or right of the window. I always minimize the area taken at the top or bottom of the screen, but there is plenty of room at the left or right because of the aspect ratio of the screen (it's wider when it really should be taller /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif)

Hi Don,

I am going to guess that the SpellBound extension now works for you in Firefox. Whenever you install an extension, you need to exit the browser, and then re-start the browser.

Well, let's see. What should I misspell this time? How aboot thet?

Chek Speling.

Nope. Still not working. I installed the dictionary, but it's apparently not reading it for some reason - still getting the "has no properties" error message -- I assume it has no properties because it isn't there (or has never played Monopoly).

Actually, I knew about the "not installed until you restart", and had already done that when I got the error above.

I'm going to have to go back and reinstall the dictionary.

OK. Dictionary now installed. Try again. Worked pretty good.

Yep! Fixed now. As good as ieSpell. I probably won't go back to IE except for dire need.

Just installed it myself. Worked fine while I checked the spelling for this post.
"?". Do you always have to click on the icon to check your spelling or can it do it automatically? G

Don,

Don't forget GareyD's post about IE conection with the right click, this makes it very easy to open things in IE if need be.

Downloaded and installed Mozilla Suite this morning.
So far it has worked great. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I am more than likely telling something that everyone knows, but I will say it anyway. If you are using Mozilla, you can click on the rough looking area to the left of the tool bars and that will hid them. That free a lot of screen space.
