Firewall insulation for JD 318 thanks to John Lang

Hi all, just wanted to post up a quick comment to say I got the firewall insulation kit from John Lang, and he does a great job. Very good directions, good prompt service.

And for those you that haven't replaced or looked at the state of your firewall insulation it's a good idea to check it. I had bought this tractor used a little over a couple years ago, and didn't realise it was even missing at the time! I'm hoping this will help the motor run longer. It seems to be a decent running engine.

Note he's got 2 options, either you fully removed the engine and then install the insulation as one piece or if you're not removing the engine (my case) he has a 3 piece option.
