first choice 3pt forklift

i noticed that on the carver equipment website they list a first choice brand 3pt forklift, it has no picture tho, and i dont see it listed on the first choice website. maybe its new and hasnt been added to there website yet, i see the copyright on there website is 2002 so i guess they dont update often. does anyone have more info in it or have a picture, it sounds interesting

hmm, looks like a nice unit, is it cable lift rather than the ordinary roller chain most forklifts use, it almost looks like a cable in the picture but its hard to tell. whats one of those cost anyhow? i have been wanting to build something like that for my tractor but havent found a suitable used forklift mast yet

yea im not sure what my 3pt lift is rated to lift, but i know that with my homemade pallet forks on the 3pt and with the fork extensions on i can lift and move a nissan extended cab pickup, as well as a few other cars, i should get some front weight since if i lift anything like a fullsize car or pickup the front end just comes up. the problem is that you can only lift it up about 2 and a half feet since the forks are mounted right on the 3pt hitch with no mast. still works nice tho, especialy with my hyd toplink

Try and set up a hydraulic top link. Being able to tilt the mast is part of what makes a forklift so versatile. Side shift would be great but a little complicated on a tractor.
