First Choice 72\" Rear finish mower

I just ordered a new Kioti 3054 and I added a 72" first choice rear finish mower with it. Does anyone have one and how do you like/dislike it? Thanks!

I have a First Choice 7' rear discharge finish mower. Have used it a little less than a full summer. So far I couldn't be happier. I previouly used bush hog & Woods 6' side discharge about 10 years each. Didn't wear any of them out, just decided I wanted new features. It has the best looking paint job & smoothest welds of all I have had.

Thanks! I am trading in the BX22 and I should get the tractor in a couple of weeks. I decided on buying over the net. As far as the dealer, I can't mention the name as of now. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

You will be happy with your choice. That is the same setup I got along with a 6' midwest grader blade. I have not had the chance to use the mower yet as our grass seed has not been wet enough to germinate. The yard is a little to big to water it all but we are still trying. I got mine from Little Tractor in IL for $15,000 out the door. Really good people to deal with.

Hope you enjoy yours as much as I am mine.

I have a 5 footer. It is so smooth. I can't believe how nice it cuts. I'm sure the other mowers are equally as nice. You will be very happy with it. I was working in an area last night that is not nice grass (sort of pasture like) and just raised the level to it's highest point and it cut - worked very well also. The only problem I've found at all is my pneumatic tires seem to lose pressure easily. I need to get some slime and fill all four tires and this might help with that little annoyance.

You made a good choice on the RFM. I have a 72" FC RFM and have used it going on my second season now and have had ZERO problems. It has my place looking like a yard in the city and it is really a hay field! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I have the same mower & it works great. It cuts nicer than the 48" CubCadet that I just picked up... & that is in 2nd gear. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif
The only issue that I have had is getting grease into it due to the "tightness" of the pulleys & wheel stems...??? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif
