I remember a tiny blurb on the news regarding this unusual shaped "rock". It was about a week to ten days ago. It certainly has an unusual trajectory.

I read about this as a story on Fox News (online) about a week back. I doubt this is the "first" interstellar object passing through the Solar System...just the first we have noticed or discovered.

For you science fiction fans, read "Rendezvous with Rama" by Arthur C. Clarke...it'll get you in the mood for a larger interstellar object entering the solar system.
