( I used a Kubota oil filter and 2.1 quarts of Mobile 1 Delvac synthetic 15W-40 oil. )
Brent - Have you checked your oil lately?
I changed my oil last weekend and 2.1 quarts barely put a mark on the dipstick. I put in 3 quarts which brought it to the middle of the dipstick.
Got this from Neil's site (and it comes from Kubota's Tech Info site which, unfortunately, only dealers have access to).
Problem:
RTV engine oil capacity seems wrong
Solution:
It is, The engine oil capacity thta is listed in the Work Shop Manual and Operators Manual is INCORRECT. The proper oil capacity is as follows:
1) Change oil and replace filter capacity is 3.1 liters or 3.3 qts.
2) Change oil without replacing filter capacity is 2.7 liters or 2.9 qts.
