I tried, but couldn't find anything on the internet to verify Junkman's remark about 400 gallons a day, but I certainly believe it...
Since spring came, and the tree has had the need for more water to make everything turn green, you can see such a difference. Just compare the top picture from December 24 with the bottom picture, taken this morning...
