It reminded me of when everyone had their hair cut off for the first time in the Army and we didn't recognize each other. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Rod, I'm just going on how my tractor handles my 72" bucket. Your tractor has over 12 less hp and considerably less weight. Frankly, I think your dealer is trying to unload a left-over bucket on that left-over TC33D. If you find that bucket width works for you, I'd surely say, "Go for it!"

Perhaps others will chime in and give you their thoughts. There are a lot of Class II Boomer owners on this board with 7308 loaders. Their experienc and advice would be a great value if they can comment. Maybe you could start a new post titled "Can the 7308 handle a 68" bucket?" so they will get a little better feel for what you need to know.

I could sure be wrong about this, Rod. I do have misgivings, and I'd hate to see you get stuck with something when you could have a better tool at the same or lower price. I just want you to get the most work and enjoyment out of that great new tractor. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

He will swap it if I don't like it.
He didn't have it. He ordered it.

I will start a post as you suggested. That should get a conversation going!

Thanks.
Rod

Jinman;
I just figured out what was wrong..... You need a beer in your hand like Henro.. and a big smile will come naturally. Looking so distinguised, must be all the air time.

Sorry! /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif In my haste, I overlooked the fact that you said your dealer ordered you a loader bucket. I apologize for saying he was trying to unload something. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I see your other post and I think that will get you several responses over the next few days.

I went to NH's website and I see the 68" bucket is offered with the new 14LA/15LA loaders. Those loaders have lots more power than the 7308. I also did an internet search for 7308 and found several tractors for sale with that loader. They all had the 60" bucket. I hope you get some good help with this decision.

Good Morning Jim

Hey, that's no problem.

I have to admit I am a little nervous with all the decisions on this purchase. It's good to look at it from all directions.

I have had some great responses to the other post.
Thanks for the idea.

The tractor is ready today. We have a good chance of thunderstorms so I am willing to bet it is on the trailer and will arrive wet!

Isn't that how it works?????
