In case they didn't already tell you: Now, go and learn to fly.
Seek out different experienced pilots to fly with, and learn all you can from them. And, when you are experienced enough, find a student, or some students to mentor. I never learned more, then when I was teaching.
And get involved in the EAA's "Young Eagles" program. I took a few dozen kids up in a couple of different aircraft. One of the coolest phone calls I ever got was from the mother of one of the kids that I took up in a Cub. The mom worked at one of my clients and I offered to take the kid up. To be honest, he seemed sort of indifferent to the whole experience. About 10 years later I got a call from the mom who said that the kid was a commercial helicopter pilot and CFI and had told his mom a few nights earlier that he owed it all to me taking him up in that Cub!
