You may have a point. Thank you for the compliment. We are still harvesting eggplant and Okra from the garden. We are planning and getting lined up for the winter crop. Right now we need a bush hog. Ours broke and I am not sure it can be repaired. Hopefully we can find a 5 ft BH soon.

Jim,
The TBN visits seemed to drop off when the site was upgraded. It was a little confusing for a while but it is improving all the time. I find that I do not go to many of the other threads on TBN since the upgrade. Not sure why other than the other sites seemed easier to visit when they were set up the old way.
You haven't been out here as much as you were in the past so maybe the other folks have been as busy as you.

Nothing about a bush hog that you can break and it not be repairable. Now as to the cost of repair versus a new, or just newer one, that is the question.

Just what did break, that makes you think it can't be fixed? Grab you wife and her trusty camera and lets take a look to see what went wrong.
I have managed to tear up several bush hogs, but nothing that is not fixable, if I wanted to spend the time and effort, plus a little cash for some of them.

I sent you an email. I will take some pictures as soon as I am able. I finally found the piece that broke... or rather my son did. Maybe this will help us determine if it is repairable.

That's what pictures are for Egon... so you can remember and still eat it LOL.

I never got to take more pictures of the larger ones. I had one that weighed around 87 lbs. I had to take tractor down to get that one... Everyone that got watermelons from me this year said they were the best and sweetest watermelons they had ever tasted. The couple we ate from the patch were delicious.

Just wanted to wish everyone a "Happy Thanksgiving" I hope this finds everyone doing well. I have been really busy with my website business and trying to keep the food project together.

We still need someone with a trencher to help install the irrigation system. The gentleman that was going to help us had some real bad luck and will not be able to help us. So we are back to square one on the irrigation system installation.
