A picture of the pumpkin patch and watermelon patch I started in my front yard. The bermuda grass has already covered the plowed area. I sure need a tiller. The one I have has completely quit. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Last picture for now. This is from Top center looking toward the top right part of garden capturing the big rock that my kids use to play on along with potatos and tomatos and such.

Have a Great Day.

( This one was partially cut but in the next picture you will see it still producing. Interesting huh? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif )

Jim, that doesn't look like a cutworm cut to me. Most of them are almost completely horizontal. Are you sure you don't have wind blowing your plants around and causing them to break off at the ground? I had several spaghetti squash plants that self-destructed in a 25-35 mph wind. Those big leaves are like sails on a boat. Sometimes if you have cutworms, you can dig a little around the base of the plant and find them since they hide in the ground during the daytime.
