Hi Scotty & everyone here at TBN,
Today while my son John (the one that got his finger mashed so bad that it was nearly severed) was relaxing with the medication he was given by the doctor... I adjusted the carburetor, did a tune up and replaced the air filter on my 76 Chevy. I also spot painted and matched the paint to take care of those gray primer spots. I also straightened the step bumper. It's amazing what a little cosmetic work and a tuneup will do for one. Now just bump the starter and she's purring like a kitten. I plan on taking it to the Chevrolet place and having the front end check out and a 4 wheel alignment. It has new tires on it and steers fine but the steering wheel isn't centered like I like them to be. The odometor shows 47,000 mile on it and the truck has the power of a new truck. From the looks of the truck bed and such... this could be the original miles. Here in SC the SC Dept. of Highway & Transportation put exempt on the mileage for this age of vehicle. I guess because they would have to be some kind of proof that it only had 47,000 miles on it.
The trucks condition speaks for itself. I may sell this truck and use the proceeds to support my Food Project. I know it is a Classic and worth a good bit.
Jim
