I used this to dig about 10 holes at 330RPM and it worked great.. It took less than 30 minutes in hard red clay.

Last Picture... someone please tell me what this antique is worth. Does anyone know if this company is still in business? Any information would be helpful.

Thanks,
Jim

( Yeah, I got one and I don't think you want one with your rocky soil and the size of your garden. They only till good when you are dragging it backwards then when you hit a rock it bounces, usually right into the plant you are trying to till around , I ended up getting a 16" rear tine tiller and am happy with it.

)

Thanks for the information on the Mantis Tiller.

Hello... so far I haven't gotten to take the pics I wanted. I will try and do it soon.

I am looking for a fertilize spreader for my tractor, a 5 ft aerator and a manure spreader. Anyone within 200 miles have one of the mentioned?

Today I purchased 1,000 lbs of 10-10-10 fertilizer and will be applying it in the next week or so.

Also... the materials for the irrigation system I am going to install has arrived. I need to use a trencher to install it. Would anyone close have one they would allow me to use for a couple of days?

I will take pictures as we install the system and try to explain it as I go. The materials for 8 zones was about $3,000.00 and that was hard to come up with.

So far there has been $13,500 spent putting in the well, pump and purchasing the materials for the irrigation system.

I need to start installing this system ASAP... I have tried to rent a trencher but they are all taken for now. This dry weather has many people putting in sprinkler systems and irrigation systems. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif
