RobS, actually the flowers are really small, it's a regular size bee. I was checking out the macro on my new camera. The old camera had a tractor accident and the lens is somewhere under a ton of gravel.

Ouch on the old camera, way to go with the new. What did you get?

Still no real signs of spring up here but I did solve a major mystery this morning. I have a bird feeder hanging on a shephards hook. It's a fairly heavy feeder but it seems the hook gets bent beyond reasonableness. I looked out the window this morning and there are two racoons pulling the feeder down and sampling the feed. Pretty funny to watch and I could see them very well on the blanket of snow.

Very good pictures, Don. My bradford pear trees have big buds on them. And I bought fresh gas this week, charged the battery on the lawnmower, then fired up both the Toro lawnmower and the Stihl string trimmer to make sure they were going to run, so I figure next week will be time to mow and fertilize the yard for the first time this year.

I noticed my apple trees had leaves last week. It's been so dry here, it kind of suprised me.
The rain we got about a week ago was a very welcome day off.

Don, it's not spring until the greenbriars start putting out leaves. That snake was probably enjoying a nice sunny spot to soak up some rays. Cool photos!:)
