So fair the prices I have received are:
MF2310 TLB - $16000.00 plus tax. BX23 TLB - $16500.00 - $500.00 rebate = $16000.00 plus tax. BX24 TLB - $16900.00 plus tax.
Thanks for any advice on what to buy !!

I would imagine that the BX24 would have the highest resale, the BX23 next. Entry level machines by Kubota have excellent resale and the most current models do best.

The prices are all so close it is really up to you and what you like best. Which is more comfortable, best dealer, etc. Tractors in general hold their value well... and unless you plan to use it for a year or two then sell it... I wouldn't even factor that into the decision. And anyway... the MF and Kubota both would have good resale value. Get the one YOU like best... they are all great tractors.

Im also a newbie to tractors. I just purchased a BX24 last week and was able to use yesterday for the first time to remove snow. I had a blast! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif It also came down to two units for me, the BX24 and the GC2310. I was quoted 16000 also for the GC and was able to get the BX24 down to 16200. After months of reading about both units on this site, I came to the conclusion that both units were very good and it would be more of a personal preference. I went with the BX24 simply because the dealer seemed willing to work with me and he was only about 8 miles away.

I sell the Kubota BX23 w/ loader and backhoe for 15,500 plus tax. My equivelant JD is the 2320, I sell that for 12,300 for tractor with loader...no backhoe available thru deere on that one. You can move to a 2520 w/ loader and get a good deal more tractor at a good deal more cost 16,300...weather its worth it or not is in the air, with a backhoe that price will jump about 6 grand...myself for a 3 acre parcel...I would go with the Kubota BX23...keep in mind however the BX with BH only weighs 1700 lbs and depending on the soil you may pull yourself into the hole. 1*You can't beat the price of a BX23 or GC2310.
The only way to get the right ROPS is to go with the OEM BH.
2*There is a lawn and garden tractor *simplicty that offers a BH from the factory however it's not standard like the Backhoes on the gc2310 and bx23.
*A safety Isssue is A rops is not required on The simplicity and are a very pricey extra cost option on them so people aren't getting them .This is a serious saftey risk for Simplicity owners having a FEL and or BH on the tractor.
The Simplicity with BH was 5 to 6 K more than my BX23 when i got it.

1*Does your 15500 include the 60'' belly mower?
15500 is what I gave for mine equipped as shown below.
2*My BX 23 with FEL and BH weighs almost 2500 pounds.
3* Operator skill has a bearing on this. When I first got my BX23 I had to deal with it but now after 390 hours it's not near the challenge it was in the beginning.
