I pondered for awhile on the purchase of a tractor, something like six years (yep, I'm married), and finally bought an L2800 HST, 4WD w/R-4s, FEL, LandPride Box Blade and 5' finish mower. I got price quotes from all over, and the quotes showed a price difference of up to $2K. Some dealers said it was because their brand of empliment was more expensive, some didn't justify the price at all. I found the lowest price right here in Wichita Falls TX at Berend Bros Turf and Tractor...$17,210 out the door. I was very suprised and even though my time on it has been limited due to work and weather, I can easily see that it is something I should have done years ago. I wish I had thought about going ahead and having rear hyd remotes put on.
