First time using a disc. That was fun!

Nice looking disc. And pretty impressive plowing in damp soil with that 1957 Major. Engine hp must be around 45 hp. Drawbar hp was tested around 35 hp.
I bought a Minneapolis Moline KS1300 wheel disc a few years ago for $600 from my tractor dealer. Cut it down from 13 ft wide to about 8.5 ft wide so my Mahindra 5525 could handle it better. It was a fun restoration/modification job.

Thanks! I was pretty pleased with the entire process. Now I've got more old implements to fix up and play with. Gotta keep the Major busy!

Great pictures, and I agree with the others. I use to farm and love the smell of freshly worked soil.
