When I did my plow mod including adding front remotes for plow angle adjustment, the one thing i added with all the great input from the forum was adding a cushion valve for this very problem. It takes the worry from hitting something. Although I always go slow unless i am familar with the area.

I am looking for the same solution. Already have the fisher plow.

I found this place in Belmont NH that custom makes clamp on brackets for plows, although I think its a bit expensive.

I found this photo on another site of this JD with an adapter made for the front end loader to mount a Fisher snow plow. Does anyone happen know if this item is still being made and by whom?

Yes they are out of Maine I emailed the owner last year and they wanted over 500.00 plus shipping so I made my own.
