Good friend of mine let me fish on his property, as my one son and his buddy wanted to go fishing and they didn't want to go to the local river and I didn't feel like driving to a larger lake (days notice, no plans on my end).

After we finished fishing and were leaving, I took the boys to the property owners house to ensure that they thanked him for letting them use his property. Couldn't find anyone at the house and when I looked, I saw about 30 head of cattle running from the shade tree and thought they it might be feeding time. Turns out the cattle didn't appreciate us at their watering hole LOL

6 large mouth bass and a couple of crappies. Not a bad day.

My buddy gave me a call this morning to ensure I give this picture to my boy and his friend who were fishing at the pond Saturday. Large mouth was caught Sunday night (last night) by my friends wifes aunt. Their (boys) bait was way too small LOL

I am glad these young men had s good day fishing. We live on a 2.5 acre shared pond. Over the last fifteen years I have gotten watch a lot of kids catch their first fish. It is great to see kids enjoy the outdoors. A couple of weeks ago a friend brought his 7 year old son and he caught his first two bass.

That’s awesome, love how you wanted them to say thank you. Respect, kids theses days don’t have that.

A friend of ours let’s us bring our kids to his little pond to fish. He told me we don’t even have to ask, I get our son to call him every time we go to teach him he needs to ask. Caught 5 of these a couple Sundays ago in an hour and a half on a hula popper.

That was my favorite part of the story. Good for you, Joe.
