Heat? What's that? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif
My shop is a 1200 sq ft, uninsulated and unheated metal building. In the winter, the lights are noticeably dim and hum like the dickens. There are six of them, of the inexpensive persuasion, each with double 96" lamps, 12 foot above the concrete. Not exactly an ideal installation. Fortunately, four of the roof panels are translucent plastic, which helps a lot, although they don't do a whole lot at night. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
Unfortunately, that's how the place came. Since we have some plans in the works that involve a different use for the building, I am foregoing the expense and time required to improve the lighting, at least for now.
