My 3pt snow removal blade was getting pretty sloppy so... I took it apart and fixed it! I started by drilling the elongated holes oversized and sleeved the pivot points adding a grease zerk. Here are some pics Sent from my iPhone 5s 64Gb using TractorByNet

Nice fix!!!! Is definitely stronger than when new. Should serve you well for a long time.

You got a large 1/2" drill that you used??? I've got a Dewalt. Man, that thing will get away from you easy. Will turn a revolution, winding up your hands, after the go button is released!!! :)

Thanks!
No used an air powered drill and 1-3/8" hole saw. A short video https://vimeo.com/143868067

An air drill will stall out instead of breaking an arm or worse.

Very good idea!!! And I was wondering how you centered the hole saw. Now I get it. I'll use that method next time. Thanks for sharing.

Cool. Nice and simple, safe and effective. I wanted to do the same thing with my old Kewaunee, but it's a solid 3" dia. cylinder, with a solid 1 1/2" shaft running thru it. I may try some brass shim stock, wrapped around the shaft, to tighten it up.
