Fixing my bucket on my 12la

This is the quick attach plate that is is on the 12la loader now.

What is the best way and cheapest way to get rid of this quick attach mess. That the previous owner did. Also do I currently have a dirt bucket or a light material bucket. The bucket is currently 54" wide. I was just going to buy a new bucket but New Holland wanted a $1000 for it.

What bugs you about the current setup? Does it function?

I don't like the extra weight it puts on the tractor by pushing the bucket a foot or more away from the tractor. I feel like it puts extra un-needed stress on the tractor.

If it were me (being a welder), I would just undo exactly what the previous owner did. Cut the brackets from the QA and weld them back where they were on the bucket.
