I'll take some of that rain over here. It's 108 F today so some rain would feel great right now and cool things down.

I guess I'm on a little higher elevation here. The lake could go another 15" or so and it would be just about back to where it has been with normal rainfall. I drove into Ocala this morning and noticed one retention pond looked pretty full, but another one that was just cleaned out to the bottom a few weeks ago was still 3-4 feet below where it had been a few years ago. I don't think we are done with the rain on this yet, so we'll see.

Just talked to my granddaughter in Jacksonville (Middleburg) she said their pond has turned into a lake. Their pond stays mostly full year round by a spring but now its flooded. Like you said they've had enough, too.

We could use some here. Only been getting a popup thunderstorm maybe once a week.

My lake (well it's not mine but I live on it) does drop a lot and has a creak out of it so it must have a spring in it somewhere. I had stopped running
it road the creak goes under acts like a **** of sorts keeping the level from getting too high.

Anyhow it is flowing good now. Mowed the yard Saturday and it could already use it again but it is way to wet
