Thanks xfaxman. ---------------------------- Do you know what/where I can get the attachment? I need to try it since I own it now.
LS mt125 owner has a link in post #5. Or take your pick: PTO ADAPTER 6 Spline 54 RPM to 21 Spline 1000 RPM - Image Search

Xfaxman..... can I change the gear ratio in the gearbox?
No, can't change it, but it would verify what the input RPM should be.

I just went through my old emails and the old owner said that it used to be attached to a international cub lo-boy 154 tractor. Little research and the tractor has 1600 rpm pto and counter clockwise. That's not good!

Count the splines to be sure it is 21.

You could replace the PTO connector on the PTO shaft to one that fits your tractor. Most AG shops can help or sell the part.

Run it on your tractor and see how much vibration it has. If it is out of balance to much, it might self destroy.
If the cutting bar RPMs are to low, you can replace the pulley on the cutter bar to a smaller one. The ones we have at work (not the same) seem to go from the first pulley to one of half the diameter. They have 540 RPM PTO connectors.
You can adjust the tractor engine RPMs, within reason, to get the best result.

unfortunately, and sadly, not much around here in Rhode Island. We have tractor supply and they don't carry it. If anyone knows anything near RI, please let me know.
