BX2200
The decals are flaking off my BX2200. I don't really care if anyone knows it's a Kubota or it has 4 Wheel Drive ect.. but it is starting to look ratty. Anyone else having this problem? Since it's still under warranty I wonder if the dealer would replace them. The peeling could be due to cleaning it up with my pressure washer.

Pressure washers do bad things to decals, and I'm sure thats your problem. Just use hose pressure, no more. I've seen pressure washers take paint off of cars!

Check with your dealer...I'm sure he'll get you new stickers.

Good luck!

"The peeling could be due to cleaning it up with my pressure washer." ---duh!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yes, I would say that is your problem. The "TOYOTA" on the back of my little blue Toyota now says " Y A", that was after a good cleaning with the pressure washer /w3tcompact/icons/shocked.gif . J

Pressuer washers can take the paint off of metal, so a decal is not a match.

I HAVE A 1000 PSI PRESSURE WASHER AND MY DECALS ALSO CAME OFF. ONLY THE BX2200 DECALS ON SIDE OF HOOD. WENT TO DEALER AND PURCHASED NEW DECALS, NOT VERY EXPENSIVE. I ALSO GOT AN EXTRA ONE AND CUT IT UP A LITTLE AND INSTALLED IT ON BACK OF SEAT, LOOKS GOOD. MAKE SURE AND CLEAN AREA WITH RUBBING ALCOHOL.

pressure washer is a no,no. i never use on on any vehicle. that high pressure spray can get into all kids of places, just use a hose and easy on that.

I blew a decal off my Polaris a few years ago so I learned the same lesson.

I just use a garden hose on everything now.. In fact, I bought an ortho "dial a spray" to put on my garden hose. (like the Miracle-Gro bottle) I fill the Ortho with Turtle Wax Zip Wax and soap up the tractor and then use a soft tire brush on it and then dial the sprayer to off and rinse. Works great. You dial up as much soap as you want.

I don't have a pressure washer and some of my decals are coming off...not all the way yet, but they are starting.

The garden hose is all I have to was the tractor with...so my guess is that decals may come off regardless.

Pressure washer certainly can't help the situation though.

Oh, one other thing. Once you put on the new decals, put a coat of wax on em, making sure you get the edges good. Seals them against water seaping in.

Is it the whole sticker or just the clear cover over the sticker to keep it from getting scratched. It looked like one of mine was peeling but it turned out to be just the clear protective cover over the sticker.
