Flange leak

Any 08' 5530 owners, have you had a leak at the hydraulic suction strainer housing flange at the transmission connection. I replaced the O ring but continues to drip although less than before. Question I pose is would a fatter O ring solve this annoying drip.

I have had this trick work for me in the past. Try wrapping some teflon tape arround the joint and oring. Be careful to keep the tape more toward the outside of the joint, because if you get pieces of the tape in the hydraulic oil it could cause pump damage. I think if you use a fatter oring, you will just damage the oring when it goes in. Good luck with it.
