Living 30 minutes from the nearest self serve car wash, I've always wanted a pressure washer of my own. Well, I got one for Father's Day and boy do I love it! I got the Generac G-23, which is 2300PSI. Does anyone know where I can get a flexible hose like the ones at the self serve car washes? The long solid one that came with it is great for most stuff, but a flexible one is better for getting under vehicle fender wells and some other tight places. I checked the Generac manual and web site and didn’t see one there. Lowes doesn’t have any either.

Danny,

I bought some stuff for my PW from NorthernTool. They have a slew of accessories.

Thanks Gobbler. Northern has a nice one that even holds it's shape. But, at $50 I think I'll look around a little more for something more basic.

I just recently made a 180 degree guick connect end for my pressure washer (had the idea to use it to clean out my gutters), I didn't work, to much over hang of the gutter by shingles. so I changed it a 90 degree fitting for washing under things. Since my pressure washer has the guick connect for the nozzles, I got a male and female guick connect fittings and connect them with a 90 degree high pressure brass fitting, works great for getting under vehicles. Less then $10 in parts. Got the parts at Northern Tool when I was there on father's day, went there to get one of those extension to reach high places, up to 24 feet, store located about 50 miles from home.

HalseyGreen - Thanks for the idea. I sure envy you for actually being inside a Northern Tools store! I didn't realize they had any stores besides the one in Burnsville, MN. I just checked their web site and see that they have locations in several states. Not near me though /w3tcompact/icons/sad.gif. I'd buy more from them but the cost of shipping adds too much for most things they sell, since most of what they sell is hardware and hardware isn't light!

Mosey - don't be jelious of me living near a Northern Tool store - the store in Richmond, VA doen't carry anywhere near what's in the catalog. Hydraulics area has a few cylinders, a pump or two, some fittings and maybe a log splitter valve, lots of go cart and atv tires, good selection of axles, bearing and hubs, but few electric brake complete setups. a few different pressure washers, plenty of pressure hoses, air hoses, and a fair amount of cheap tools, tape and dodads. Fun to visit but don't ususally buy much.
