Hang a big fluffy cotton bath towel over the stern with one end on the ground, the other in the water. If it doesn't rain again the boat should be empty within 30 days......

Get a hose and place one end in the boat and the other end a little lower than the hull. Suck as hard as you can and watch the magic..

Is there an "East Nile Virus" for the folks on the other side of the river, or do they just have to do without?:)

What if ShenandohaJoe is actually a Joanne? Then what card are you going to take away?
As far as the boat goes......Fill it up with rocks and displace the water.

That way, you can use your tractor!

Sort of like the crow did with the bottle:cool2:....crows are so smart, man they are 1 smart bird . They say you can teach them to speak. There you go.... ask a crow.

Hey mister crow........How do I get this water outta ma boat?

Now this whole thread has to do with using the Front End Loader, aka FEL. I could see loading the rocks into the boat with the FEL ........ you'd get a few dents etc, but nothing too severe. HOWEVER .......... removing those same rocks with that same equipment could produce some interesting results. Have we determined yet if the boat is to be considered usable after the exercise, or is it to be the "sacrificial object lesson tool" for FEL practice?

I vote for using the FEL to carry the siphon hose from the shop to the garge. The question would be do you just put it in the bucket or change out to the forks and wrap the hose for more secure transport.

Use your backhoe to bail it out, one bucketfull at a time.
Don't have a backhoe? Now you have another good reason to get one.
