Floor chain tie downs

Anybody use these? If so, what is your take on their functionality?

I have never seen them or used them. But, they seem to be a viable method of securing cargo. I like the info in regards to using 3/8 chains.

Many, many years ago, when I was an owner/operator, I had a 40' Great Dane flatbed trailer equipped with those kind of tie downs. They let you run a side and tarp kit to enclose your load and still have a place to tie down. They always worked fine for me.

I hadn't seen those before, What I like about them is it apears that you could have your choice of pull angle on those without comprimising their strengh, unlike a fold-down loop tie down that has to be angled to match the direction of pull.
