Wanting floor matts for my CUT mainly to retain heat I used those interlocking 1/2" foam matts they sell in many dollar stores.
I simply custom trimmed to fit and voila, insulated floor matts.
Main problem was the matts sold were all different collared but what the hey, warm feet is what it was all about.

Replaced the floor mat on my M9 open station last year. Bought the OEM mat and it was just under 100 bucks, so a cheaper alternative is nice. My issue was it's form fitted (over the center hump) and the OEM mat comes with push pins and has the gear shift selector molded in plus, it's very thick. My cab M9 has insulation under the floor mat from the factory. Never wore it out (mat or insulation layer).
