Hello, Finally took the plunge and ordered a lake monitor 5-50 gpm flowmeter. Want to build a diagnostic setup and was wondering the correct order of components. Want to install a needle valve, relief valve, and possible a check valve to prevent reverse pressure. I have used OTC and other testers but the plumbing setup is all inside the box. Needed this because I have a lot of components from salvage and teardowns that should be matched for best performance rather than best guessing. Work on AG and Mobile Equipment on the side also and need to be able to properly diagnose systems. Thanks for any help. Currently building a firewood processor and have a lot of valves and two pumps that are unknown as to what they can handle. Craig

Craig,
The neatest way to do this would be to use a HIC (Hydraulic Integrated Circuit) / manifold. This would reduce the package size, plumbing leak points, etc. I believe companies like Delta Power Co., Hydra-Force, Sun, etc. all have "pre-engineered" blocks that could be used for this function.
