Lathe chucks, tool post, tool holders, stored tool and drill bits, milling vise, rotary table, indexer, boring tools and stored boring bits. And the usual drill press table and assorted punch-press machines around the shop. I use it on just about everything made of steel or iron that isn't painted. If you're using it under a mower deck, it will have to be reapplied after each cut and clean. I wonder how long that regiment will last. 
The lanolin is the key ingredient. I make my own mix and put it in a spray bottle. A pound of lanolin will go a LONG way.
