Yes you can pour it in by breaking one bead. I doubt you can get as much in that way as you can using the valve stem adaptor. How much weight do you want to add?

I don't really know exactly how much weight I'd need to add...but I'd say if I could fill the tires maybe 3/4 with fluid that would be a lot better than it is now with no extra weight.

   / Fluid in tires - Question #23
The more I think about this, for a commercial zero turn mower wheel (24x12-12)...wouldn't it be pretty simple to just break the bead a little with the wheel on it's side and dump in the fluid? Seems like it would be a piece of cake. After filling to the level you want, just take the pry bar out (or whatever you were holding the bead down with) and fill it to the pressure you need with air. I'm not talking about a large tractor wheel...this is a relatively small tire/wheel I'm talking about.

Dude, I don't know if you want to go and break a bead that's sealed right now. Every time I've messed with tires the size of garden tractors and wheelbarrows and such, I've had a devil of a time getting them resealed (re beaded), taking them to the tire store and then they cussed at it for most of the day and charged me double what a passenger car tire would have cost. I have a lot of sandburrs so flats are common on small lawn equipment. I don't know what could be easier than taking out the core valve and pouring it in the valve stem.

I think you can at least get close to a 3/4 fill that way. The weight of the liquid can make re-seating more difficult, but a couple of ratchet straps around the tire can help. Good luck!

normally you fill ballast to 80% .. if you have the bead broke.. I think you may have a hard time feeping all the ballast in.. your call. it's easy to do thru the valve stem.. but for sure there are probably plenty of hard ways to do it that all work.

cheap drill-pump probably the most cost effective way to 'pump' it in, vs gravity flow from a bottle using the fuel line I mentioned..

I'd also like to add that I'm not a fan of ballasting tubless tires.. too easy to loos the ballast...

Don't nobody weld a Threaded Nipple onto the rim and use that for the fluid fill?:D

I used my backpack weed sprayer and an adapter similar to the one from TSC to pump the WW fluid in my Simplicity Legacy. The connection between the adapter and the sprayer was not perfect but using a rubber shim to make the sprayer thread bigger, it held just right in the adapter. Worked great and improve traction perfectly. Not too heavy for mowing and just enough for the winter blower. An it was real cheap to do.
For my Deere 855, I had the dealer put what they call agrilime here in southern Quebec. I guess it is like Rimguard. I did not want to go to canadian tire and get 44 gallons of WW fluid. Plus the agrilime is heavier per volume.

   / Fluid in tires - Question #29
You guys are making this way too hard. If you have a lawn sprayer with a 12 volt pump that you pull behind your lawn tractor use it with the valve from TSC. I just did some last Friday and it took all of 1 hour to do 2 tires using WWF that I bought in bulk from a local supplier for $.94 per gallon. I got a 55 gallon drum and used a siphon to fill the sprayer. Put 40 gallons total in my 2 tires.

Here's a question: How do you folks FILL the tires with fluid??

I'd like to know that so I can drain/refill my tires. Want to get rid of the calcium that rots the wheels.
