Fluid level for loader on 1961 205 loader backhoe

Just purchased a 1961(near as I can tell based on serial numbers) 205 industrial with perkins diesel, instant reverse, loader(unknown model at this point) with a mark V backhoe. I blew a hose on the loader and I need to know what the fliud level should be. Based on pics on the net the loader seems to be a period correct type loader. There is no sight glass or obvious plug to fill level to. I did add some earlier before hose blew because it was low and I just pulled the fill fitting and looked in with flashlight . Can upload pics if that helps. Just got it saturday so I havent even had a chance to order service or parts manuals hope to do that this week. Also is there a certian fluid that should be in the instant reverse trans other than regular hydraulic fluid?
