You guys have gotten me through all of my initial problems that turned out not to be problems after all but this time I think I do have a real problem. I hooked up a spreader today to put some fertilizer on my field. I enguaged the power take off (I believe that's what you call it) but I was haveing problems with the material clumping so I got off the tractor to inspect things. I noticed that there was a significant amount of fluid (oil) working its way out around the drive shaft on the rear of the tractor. This can't be good. What do I need to do to remedy it?

Sounds like you need to replace the seal and collar. You may very well have a bad bearing also since you are losing so much fluid.

Thanks,
Bruce
