Looking at buying a NH TC33DA and loader. I will be using it for: mowing using a 72" rfm, spreading gravel and dirt, raking and box scraper work. Do you think I should have the front tires foam filled. What would be the advantages and disadvantages? Any help making the decision would be appreciated.

None of the jobs you listed seem to justify foam-filled tires. I'm not sure if the areas you'll be working in have lots of thorny locust, mesquite, or other thorny trees/brush, but if you don't have very sharp objects, I would first try non-filled tires. If you see you need foam, you can always get it done later and it will be about the same price as getting it when you first buy your tractor.

Thanks for the info. Jim. I have only had a mmm. This will be the first rfm I will have. The dealer told me that without the additional weight on the front, that lifting the rfm would make the front end light so keep it as low as possible when in transport. Is this true? He wasn't trying to push me into getting the front tires filled but gave is opinion.

I don't have steep hills or thorns to worry about on my property, but you never know what you may encounter. I certainly wouldn't want to be surprised with a flat front tire. That has me thinking about filling the front tires, but would it hurt having the extra weight while mowing? Also, I am being quoted $18,959 for the tractor w/hydro and 14LA loader...how does the price sound? I think it is pretty good... Thanks for the input.

We had all tires foam filled after a few flats -- property is being rehab'd after burning and we have a LOT of hidden pointed tree remains that have put 1" plus holes in the tires.

Until the fire that caused this I just woudl fill the load with rocks/dirt if I neede to weigh down the front.

Foam is great but....it will make the ride a LOT rougher amd isn't cheap.
