Foamy yellow 80-90 Gear lube in axel?

Just changed the engine oil in my B2920 when I checked my front axel after running it the gear lube looked foamy? Is this normal? I only have about 20 hours on the lube but kits been over a year since I changed it. I have A total of 77 hrs on this 09 thanks.

Did you use a anti foam gear oil?

My used meteor snowblower had a weird yellow gear lube I had never seen before. I called MK Martin (who makes Meteor), they said that's what they used from the factory. I had never seen yellow gear lube, but it;s out there!

be carefull.. water emulsion into gear oil will turn it into a milkshake. at that point it can froth and foam even if it was a foam rejecting oil.

Did you get into water?

No, it's never really even been in the rain. I think some of the yellow is the dip stick. I was more worried about the foamy appearance. But I think it was just because I had used the tractor.
