fog in dash panel

Has anyone had this fixed to the point that it no longer fogs? I read in the JD column that JD has a treatment thta tempers the dash plastic so it no longer fogs-New Holland replaced ours and it continues to fog-up.wondering if you share the same problem-Lloyd

My dealer replaced my instrument panel in September, but I noticed yesterday that it was starting to fog up after several hours working in the cold. It shouldn't be this difficult ...

I've learned to live with mine...heating the lens would be the only dependable solution. I'd think sealing the unit may be a bit bothersome given the nature of the service and the wide range of environmental conditions it has to withstand.

Snowmobile helmets now have heated face shields to keep the fog off and fire trucks use heated gauges to keep them fog and frost free.

It seems a couple of bands of heater wire stratigically placed to look like it belongs would be NH's best solution. To go all out a sensor can be added to cycle the strip heater.

Until they do some re-engineering, I'll just deal with it.

TC25D dash fogged up the 1st winter (last year) that I owned it. Seems to be a little worse this year. My windsurfing boards all have vent plugs for pressure compensation. Since I trashed a wave board this summer I've got a spare plug. Tempted to install it into dash if possible. Anyone out there try venting their dash to deal with this problem?
