This has been around the block a lot. I think the short answer is no they are not interchangeable. Even if they mount the same on the fenders, I believe the substructure is different, from what I've been told, at least on the 2200/22.
If you do a search on BX and ROPS, you'll be busy for the rest of the week reading about it.
From my research no one makes an aftermarket one for the BX either.
Before you post about modifying yours or building your own, do a search and you'll find tons of posts about it. I know--I've been there/done that.
