Folks not tying down their trash!!!!

My dogs don't get near the road, too likely to attack the vehicles getting close. I do clean my section of road but getting them to recycle place (1 hour drive one way) only happens when I have trailer load of something, Not storing nasty beer cans that long,

So, I don't like to complain too much about things, but there is one thing that really gets me MAD. My road has a trash station/refuse on it. People come flying down the road with trash bags and junk not strapped down and drop off full bags of trash, half sofas, tires, etc. and don't stop to pick it. These folks should be fined 2500 dollars and have to serve a minimum 30 days in jail for first offense. I am sorry but if you are not mature enough to take care of you trash and respect the roads and peoples property then you should not have to access to the trash site or better yet a drivers license!!!!
I’m sorry to hear you live on a trashy road.

I‘m sick and tired of picking up trash in front of my place also.

There really should be more enforcement of litter laws and actual dumping should carry jail time. Talk to your county officials and let them know you want something done.

Mine do, but on a leash. I prefer obedient dogs myself. I live in the middle of nowhere anyway (flyover country and working farm) and far as trash blowing down the road, so long as it don't stop here, I don't much care. Other than beverage bottles and cans discarded by the teenagers, not much litter out here anyway.

You mistake me, the dogs listen fine and I could walk them on leash on the road. However once I take them somewhere it becomes part of their protective bubble and no threats are allowed and they will remove the danger. Loud exhaust is considered danger. Besides walking along the dirt road in not nearly as much fun for them as running a few miles through the woods.

Time to get a more obedient pup. Lawsuits can be expensive.

I have 6 dogs, 1 little, 1 at 85 lbs one 100+ and the other 3 over 140 each. Have not lost anything to yotes, bear or bobcat in a while. Not people aggressive unless sent but will alert and stop vehicles.
I see no need to take them off my acreage when they have a job. I exist to protect them when needed and except for people they don't need help.

No more dangerous to passerbys than bulls in the pasture all up and down this road.

There are LGD all over around here and you will get stopped in many driveways or back roads by giant dogs that only get aggressive when needed.

Nowhere near as much exercise, either. While you walk a mile they run two or more... even if they never leave your sight. I'm lucky enough to live on a low traffic road especially in winter. I can walk 1/2 mile in either direction from my house and let him run off lead. If a car does come I can easily grab him and stand in the ditch.

I know around here if you enter a drop off station without your load tied down, they double your fee. Maybe you could talk to the trash station. See if they would do that for you?
