There is a proper price for everything. The first question is if you can determine what something actually is. Is it a 1401, a 1401D or something else? What condition was it in before it came to be where it is now? What has been covered up and what has been repaired? Without any of this information, one must assume the worst--i.e it's a salvage and maybe everything runs, maybe not. The clues to its history are in the wrong hood/decal, rust on the frame and a poor paint job. All of this implies that it is something to be avoided and if bought should be at a minimal price with the assumption of being a project for rebuilding rather than a working tractor.
