Fontier aerator

I found what sounds like a good deal on a used Frontier CA2060 core aerator. Anyone have experiance with this model? I will be aerating my 4 acre yard 1-2 times per year and pulling with a JD 4300. I may do a few aerating jobs for other people too if I get it.

Nevermind. I guess someone else got a heck of a deal. $650 was what it was listed as.

Sorry you missed out but in case you were to find another one yes they are a good unit. I have the 2060E model. They have a Heavy Duty frame and spoons.

I think the one you were looking at has 8 spoons compared to 6 on the E model. I used mine several times last Fall and I was very satisfied with the results.

Cincinnati It had been on for a while, I just didn't see it till last night. I need to watch closer, it's just hard to remember to search the state for something that comes up so rarely like a 3 pt aerator.

That's it. It was half way between Cincinnati and Columbus. It was advertised as a CA2060 but it was actually a CA2060E. I bought it about two weeks ago - hope to try it out soon. I missed a Woods 60" aerator about two months ago for $350 over in Dayton. Keep looking and one will show up.

I've got two John Deere's currently, but sadly they are both garden tractors without a 3PH. I can add a 3PH to the x575 so the paint would match, but I'm afraid this would be a bit much for it. I bought two plastic tubs with lids that hold three 50 pound bags of sand - they sit on top. I guess I'll have to put up with the paint mis-match for now!
