WH Group is a Chinese holding company with a Chinese CEO. The primary stockholder of WH is another Chinese holding company. I do not see anyone claiming that the Chinese government owns Smithfield. Goldman Sachs has 3% stake in WH. There is one non-Asian on the WH board of directors, the guy that heads up Smithfield.

My turkey poults will be wandering around my property in several months.
There are so many turkeys, and they are so easy to bag if I should need some.
I have deer too!

2019/2020 wasn't a high stress winters for turkeys here . We have had three wet cold springs here in a row. Few hatchlings survived. The hens would keep trying and was not unusual young turkeys chicks the size of bantam chickens in August. Doubt if any survived the winter .
