Well I'm glad the Giants won, not a very dramatic game, that's for sure, except at the end when the Pats intentionally did not defend against the touchdown because they needed the ball back with some time left.

The giants back only made a half effort to not go in the end zone, but fell in anyway. that was a mistake that could of cost them the game, giving the ball to Brady with a minute left. They needed to take as much time off before they scored.

So that was not something you see very often.

I'm almost ready to give up my hatred of fat Krafts now.

...or the Stupidbowl like my buddy who hates football calls it

JB

Stupidbowl. That is a great word I will use. :D

My daughter was watching the Stupidbowl last night. If not for her, I would not know who was playing. She wanted to know why I could care less about the Stupidbowl. I told her that after the game was over the world will be just the same. No better. No worse. It is just a game.

It's big in the advertising business, that's for sure.

Something like 1/4 billion dollars spent on the ads for the game!

This one was the best and got alot of people talking.
I thought it was great, and thought it was more a puplic service annoucement, credit to Crysler for not flaunting their brand name and including all of detroit.
Cost about 14 million for this ad I believe.

My only sports information I get is from the morning radio show I listen too. Of course this morning they were talking about the Superbowl adverts. :D

They played the Clint video and it sounded awesome. I tried to viewed it on YouTube this morning and it had been removed because of copyright concerns which I thought was more than odd. I mean, it is ADVERTISING. :D I assume Chrysler made them take it down.

Sounded good though.

I would think maybe the network would have an interest in blocking it, but not sure.

2 minutes! pretty long for a comercial.

Doesn't my link work for you? still works for me.

Yeppers, you link worked. Odd. Another link I tried first thing this morning did not and YouTube said it had been removed.

I live in Pats nation, obviously a big fan. Not a huge fan of Brady anymore though. He married Giselle and became a hyped up superstar. He was much better on the field when he was only recognized as "Bledsoe's replacement".

I'm a Niner's fan by choice though. And in my eyes the Niner's vs Giants game was the real Superbowl. Good old fashion, muddy, smash-mouth football.

Now there's a video of Gronkowski disco dancing the night of the super bowl loss, that and the Giselle comment about how her husband "can't throw the ball and catch it" they are beating themselves, they don't need me to hate them.

No doubt they were a great team probably the best team for the last decade, I was just tired of seeing them win

Although I am a GIANTS fan forever, I didn't mind seeing the Pats do well over the years, especially after how bad they were back in the day, so long as they were doing their thing in the AFC. Put them together in the Super Bowl, and I'll pull for the GIANTS every time (I was the only GIANTS fan at our 2008 Super Bowl party in Colorado). Growing up in CT, as others have said, the fan base is split between GIANTS, Jets, & Patriots fans.

But in recent years, I've grown rather tired of the prima donna attitude out of the patriots, and the more recent whining by Tom Brady when he's not getting center stage.

I really believed going into this game, that if the GIANTS didn't get caught up in the hype and get too over-confident, they were going to beat the Pats yet again, especially after hearing about how "mad" Brady was playing late in the year & through the playoffs, and the fact that the Pats believed they "deserved" it, like fate owed them a Super Bowl victory. Most were discounting the GIANTS, who made another gutsy run at the end of the season and through the playoffs, and as we saw in 2007/2008, there ain't no stopping them when they're on that roll.

I still prefer the GIANTS logos of the 80's, and my old 80's GIANTS garb is getting pretty ragged. That stuff is hard to find nowadays.

Now I'm going to watch the season finale of Inside the NFL so I can see more GIANTS highlights.
