Footing AFTER a pole barn is built

/ Footing AFTER a pole barn is built #21
When I do my pole buildings I put a 2"x12" on the outside and a 2"x8" on the inside of the posts. Pour the slab and the part in between the 2"x's. That way the metal doesn't come in contact with the ground. Put your brick veneer over that. Work?

Just re-read and saw the front door is 14'. So nine feet of footer on each side of the door. Doesn't change the conclusion.

All correct... Essentially only need the footing on the front gable wall. 32' width ... Door is 12 wide by 14 tall soooo. 20 total....

Now here is another catch,

I've not contacted my FIL yet cause i need to learn all this first. He has since retired but his career was footing(him and another guy owned the business). His partner is still in business.

So this may offset some of the traditional prices. Not just in looks for a handout, freebee, discount etc, I'm just saying I "may" have an angle.
