Not tractor related but around 1971ish friend went to nearby city to look at 1968 Chevy SS396 that was advertised in newspaper as owned by “my grandma who only drove it to church on Sundays”. Friend did purchase the car, it was pristine, & title WAS in grandma’s name! After a little questioning she did admit to having also visited local drag strip…….

“Only 100K on the diesel, so just getting broken in” = yeah but the rest of the truck is no different than a gas truck so at 100K, it’s pretty much wore out.
