Cabs are nice! I didn't have to breath this stuff. We had a ton of rain in the spring but, ........... our last rain was July 1st. Our small tractor was an open station Kubota B2710 that we decided to upgrade last November.

The NH TL100A looked like the LS XR4046 HC but, I had blown dust off of the cab windows before picture.

An open cab is much more fuel efficient. I'm saving diesel because it's too dusty to mow. It will all fall down by March anyway. I'm getting used to the WILD look.

Yeah keep that 100* stuff down there where it belongs! We have had more 95-100+ days here in the last 6 weeks than we have had in the 11 years since i moved here! Gotta be all these Texas tourists up here seeing Glacier park and bringing it with them!

THAT is exactly the issue I keep debating with my friends. They say I do not need one, and I am like, "I like breathing when around all the cedars I need to move!"

My issue is, I do not want to have to buy a whole new truck to haul a tractor.. lol.. my wife may make me live in it! ;)

Trying to find the smallest tractor I can get with a cab with A/C. I recently got a link to a LS 3037 (I think that was it) and am researching that right now as it looks like a solid tractor.. heh

I'm new to tractors. Recently bought some land and have read all I could on what I needed in a tractor. I'm highly allergic to bee and wasp stings so thought I'd better get a tractor with a cab, so I did.

This past weekend was my first attempt at using the tractor with a rotary mower. I started mowing the property (which hasn't been attended to in years) and about 15 minutes into it I must have run over a bumble bee nest. Suddenly I was surrounded by about 10 bumble bees that looked really pissed off. They looked like miniature helicopters that would come up to the cab, see me through the glass and dive right for me then hit the glass. In the back of my mind I could hear the tune from "Ride of the Valkyries" from Apocalypse Now emanating from them ;-)
I do think the cab saved me from potentially serious stings and a trip to the hospital.
