Forced Air Furnace Blower Question

No need to be fancy or to be guessing. Measure the current draw of the motor. This will tell you yes or no if the motor is overloaded.

I put the blower door cover back on Friday after work. There are four vents already in the basement to supply heat, but none on the return duct. I think I will look into installing one near the filter. Thanks for all of the useful information.
